PRICE INCREASE EFFECTIVE 1st MAY 2024
Sumitomo / Dunlop will implement a price increase in the following categories effective 1st May 2024:

Car Steel, SUV, Light Truck and Motorcycle Estimated weighted average increase ranging
between 3% to 5%

Truck Steel Estimated weighted average increase ranging
between 3% to 5%

Tubes and Flaps Estimated weighted average increase ranging
between 3% to 5%

Certain items will be realigned outside of these parameters due to their price points being unsustainable.

All backorders as at 30th April 2024 will be cancelled and can be reinstated at the new prices.

A new price list will be distributed in due course.


NOTIFICATION OF PRICE INCREASE 1 MAY 2024 - CONTINENTAL TYRES

The continued escalation in cost leaves CTSA no option but to adjust our prices.

Effective 1 May 2024, we will re-align our prices on all PLT, Truck Tyre & Commercial Specialty products by a weighted average of 5%.

Open/back orders not delivered by 30 April 2024 will be invoiced at the new pricing.

ADVANCED NOTICE OF ANNUAL PRICE INCREASE 1ST MARCH 2024

Effective 1st March 2024, we are giving notice of an intended CPI increase.

The new pricing will be reflective of the current economic conditions.

We have been notified of the following price increases on 1 February 2024:


RINGTREAD:

From the 1st February 2024, all RingTread will increases by 15%.


The following brands / products will be increasing on the 1st January 2024:


MAXXIS / CST:

Please be advised that Maxxis Tyres SA will be implementing a price increase, effective 1st of January 2024. We understand that the current business environment is not favorable.

However, due to several factors contributing to the rising cost of our products and business operations, we are unable to maintain our pricing any longer.

As we continue to review our internal cost-saving process, we strive to keep the increase to a minimum. After careful consideration, an increase of 3-5% across all tyre segments on Maxxis and CST tyres and tubes will be implemented.


Michelin / BFGoodrich:

Price Realignment – Recreational Off Road – KO2

Michelin South Africa advises you of a price realignment in the KO2 range.

The price realignment is effective 1 January 2024 and applicable to the entire KO2 range.
Updated Price lists will be shared in the month of December. New prices will be applied to all orders invoiced and delivered as of 1 January 2024 as well as across all back orders.

SUMITOMO:

Sumitomo Rubber South Africa will be conducting a realignment to our List Price. This will impact our decimal value prices on some of our SKU's.

The realignment to our pricing will be effective 1st January 2024.


Due to an evolution of raw material and global transportation cost, Michelin Group will adapt its
prices, effective 1st of November 2023, with the below mentioned increase:

Recamic at +20%

This increase is effective 1st November 2023.

Please note that all back-orders released from 1st November 2023 will be invoiced at the new price.

Price Realignment
**Commercial Tyres

Michelin Tyre Company South Africa advises you of a price realignment in tyres across the Commercial Tyres range.

This price realignment is effective 18 September 2023 and is applicable to all MICHELIN Group brands.

Updated price lists will be issued within the month of August.
New prices will be applied to all orders invoiced and delivered as of 18 September 2023, as well as across all backorders.

Goodyear Price Increase - Effective 01 September 2023

Due to the continued market related cost pressures, Goodyear South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Goodyear), hereby wishes to advise of a price increase on all Consumer tyres.

Goodyear hereby notifies you of an estimated weighted increase of 5% on all Consumer tyres, effective 01 September 2023.

Please note that certain items might be re-aligned outside of these parameters due to our current price points being unsustainable.

New prices on Consumer tyres will apply to all orders delivered from 01 September 2023.

All open orders and backorders not delivered by 31 August 2023 will be cancelled and reordered at new prices.

Bridgestone / Firestone expected increases:

Consumer (PSR and LTR) Estimated weighted average increase ranging between 6% to 8%.

TBR Estimated weighted average increase ranging between 6% to 8%.

AGRI Estimated weighted average increase ranging between 6% to 8%.

All undelivered orders and backorders as from the 31st July 2023 will be cancelled and re-ordered at new prices.


Continental Tyres will increase on the 1st August 2023!

Passenger and LDV average of 7.5%.

Truck average 8%.

Agricultural, Earthmoving, Material Handling between 3% and 7%.

Michelin will be increasing on the 1st August 2023!

This price realignment is effective 1 August 2023 and is applicable to all MICHELIN Group brands.

New prices will be applied to all orders invoiced and delivered as of 1st August 2023, as well as across all backorders.

GOODYEAR OTR
Goodyear SA hereby wishes to advise that it will realign its prices on all OTR products effective 1 August 2023.
All backorders will be cancelled and reinstated at the new price as per the effective date.

Upcoming increases for July 2023:

Bandag has announced a price increase effective 1 July 2023.
Effective 1 July 2023 all Bandag re-treads and stock tyres will increase by 4.8 %.

Continental Tyres have moved their price increase to the 1st August 2023!


The following brands are increasing on the 1st May 2023!

Goodyear:
All Consumer and Truck tyres.
Weighted increase of 6% on all Consumer tyres.
Truck pricing will be communicated in the coming days.

That's all we have been advised about but it may be possible other brands have not notified us yet!
